THE SPEECH BY DOROTHY CONDON ON THE OCCASION OF THE UNVEILING OF THE MONUMENT AT “AVONDALE” COMMEMORATING 100 YEARS OF OCCUPATION OF “AVONDALE” BY THE BRODERICK FAMILY
I would like to say “thank you” for having this honour of unveiling the monument to the Broderick family.
For a farm to be 100 years in the one family is a very rare occurrence. I would also like to thank everyone for being here on this great occasion.
>Finally I have much pleasure in unveiling this monument to the Broderick’s 100 years of ownership of “Avondale” and to thank the Hodges family for keeping it in such good condition.
